Role Overview As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will be tasked with delivering multiple projects a year, while working as part of a dynamic and hands-on Infrastructure team. The team are in a fantastic position working with a wide variety of technologies and the role will be supporting not only our products but also our global infrastructure. We are looking for an individual who is interested in joining a busy team, is a self-starter and willing to engage with fellow staff across the business. You should have the ability to work across the organisation, functions and chosen technologies whilst also delivering tangible results. What you will be doing You will be expected to deliver around 2-6 major projects a year along with other workloads. These projects vary depending on business needs at the time. However, initially you will be tasked with the following: Complete the implementation of Microsoft 365 (working with FastTrack) - including Autopilot Implementing a testing area for Windows 10 & Linux testing environment within Azure Assisting our development product team with migrating to Linux Helping migrate our corporate Box solution over to OneDrive for Business Work outside of projects: You will be expected to assist junior members of the team in busy periods and act as an escalation point Occasionally you will be expected to deal with walk up problems if the support team are away from their desks You will also be expected help with International support What technologies you'll use As mentioned we have a wide variety of technologies, including but not limited to: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows 10, Server 2016, Microsoft 365. What we look forKnowledge Proven knowledge of Microsoft Azure Working knowledge of Linux Deep understanding of Microsoft SQL Experience A minimum 6 years working in an Infrastructure team Skills Fully MCSE qualified Has worked in an ISO 27001 accredited company
