A well-established Corporation is driving towards the future - migrating from on-prem to AWS. They are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineering Manager to be responsible for driving maximum value from data for Finance users, through the development and operation of the Finance Data Solution.

What you will be doing…

* Data solution development and delivery

* People leadership

* Understanding the needs and goals of the Finance team, ensuring regular engagement and transparency

* Hands on with functional designs, coding, and testing patterns

What you will need…

* Expertly skilled in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, R, Scala.

* ETL/ELT processing

* AWS (S3, Athena, Glacier, Redshift, EC2)

* Project management methodologies

* Experience managing a data solution in a finance organisation

* Excellent people and leadership experience

* Ability to convey technical terms to all audiences
