C# Developer | Southampton | circa 45,000 | Multiple Positions

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently looking for C# Developers to join a key client based in Southampton. This is a great opportunity to join a well established software company who provide some of the worlds leading retailers with financial solutions.

THE BASICS:

As C# Developer you will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, translating application storyboards and ensuring the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.

C# Developers are required to identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions to these problems while continuously helping maintain code quality, structure, and automatisation.

You will be expected to participate in team meetings and discussions, maintaining accurate documentation throughout.

KEY SKILLS:

A solid understanding of C# with experience using the .NET framework with knowledge of design patterns and Object Orientated Design is a must for this position. Experience of TDD and Unit testing will also be highly desirable.

We are also looking for individuals with experience of Relational Database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server and knowledge of Source Control technologies such as GIT along with a strong interest in programming best practices.

Our client is looking for individuals with strong communication, team working skills and be autonomous and proactive in solving problems.

THE DESIREABLES:

If you also have experience with HTML5 and Javascript Frameworks such as Angular and understand the Agile software development life-cycle and Scrum Methodologies this will likely result in an immediate interview request.

Developers with commercial experience developing RESTful WebAPIs or working with high-transactional SQL environments and been actively involved in large, complex system implementation projects will be in high demand.

Experience with CI tools such as TeamCity will also be highly desirable.

THE SHIFT PATTERN:

The position includes flexible working hours (37.5 Hrs) between the working hours of 6am : 11pm
