Infrastructure Engineer 

New Milton, Hampshire 

Up to £30,000 per annum Plus Pension (matched up to 4%), Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance x2, 25 Days’ Holiday + Bank Holidays 

As an industry leader in safety and security, our client has used cutting-edge technologies to create innovative products that help people to feel healthier, happier and safer. 

This is a really exciting time of growth and change for the business as they are securing and building their own internal IT infrastructure for their support functions while maintaining the infrastructure for their 24/7, 365 emergency control centre. 

Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their small, but perfectly formed IT and Technical Team and provide a high level of support to the business. 

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will: 

- Provide technical support over the phone, via email and in person

- Handle escalated calls from the 1st Line Helpdesk Technician 

- Manage change requests 

- Assist with user/hardware movement and office relocations 

- Manage system user configurations 

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need experience of the following: 

- Working in an IT support role 

- Customer service 

- Citrix 

- Microsoft application support 

- Helpdesk applications and support tools 

- IT security 

- Windows 

- Windows Server 

- Exchange 

- VMware 

- Active Directory 

- Software licensing 

- Telephony platforms

It would be great if you had a formal IT based qualification, but this isn’t essential. 

Other companies may call this role IT Support Engineer, Network Support Engineer, 2nd Line Support Analyst, IT Support Analyst, Helpdesk Analyst, Service Desk Engineer, Technical Support Analyst or Infrastructure Support Analyst.

This is a full time role, working Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:00, 35 hours per week. A future requirement for a call out rota may be required.
