Business Analyst - West Country - Fixed Term Contract Business Analyst - West Country - Fixed Term Contract - Our client who is a household name is sourcing for a Business Analyst on Fixed term contract basis, this a great company who is growing due to a recent injection of capital. The role will involve:-Business Knowledge:Former experience of warehousing, distribution or logistics industries preferred.Skills:

'€¢Good understanding of analysis and solution design methodologies'€¢Able to produce documented requirements with high degree of accuracy and clarity'€¢Able to document existing and desired business processes, including gap analysis'€¢Comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of the business'€¢Use of Visio (or similar) to document processes and data flows

Beneficial:

'€¢Comfortable using SQL for basic analysis of business data

'€¢Understanding of manufacturing and distribution systems and processes including:

'€¢Sales Order Processing'€¢Manufacturing'€¢Distribution'€¢Warehousing'€¢Financials'€¢Purchase Management'€¢Inventory

'€¢Use of MS Project (or similar) to produce high-level Gantt for development timelines etc.

The Person:

'€¢Experience demonstrating accuracy and strong attention to detail'€¢Excellent written and verbal communication skills'€¢Excellent problem solving and innovative skills, including solution design'€¢Strong analytical skills'€¢Disciplined and logical approach'€¢Reliable and flexible'€¢Ability to effectively plan, organize and manage multiple assignments with challenging timelines'€¢Ability to adapt and adjust, self-motivation, enthusiasm toward work, and the ability to work well with others as part of a small team
