Job title: ETL Informatica Developer
Rate: £500.00 per day
Duration: 3 month
Location: Derby
Experience:
* 6 years + software development experience in an ETL environment, including Informatica
* Informatica Powercenter Version 9.x/10.x
* Informatica Powercenter use of Web Services and messaging queues
* Sourcing, parsing and generation of xml files through Informatica
* Oracle 10g/11g, SQL Server 2005/2008 (2012 a bonus) including the development of stored procedures and query procedure monitoring
* Knowledge and practical design and development experience of Data Warehouse concepts
* Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas
* Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Experience with RDBMS platform (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Netezza, Teradata, DB2/UDB)
* An understanding of Agile framework would be advantageous, but not essential
* High leveldeliverables, include (taken fromRFQ):
* Post Sprint zero define expected story points and delivery
* Acceptance criteria approval (i.e. attain 'done' status)
* Successful implementation of Agile deliveries
* BPSS clearance required
* Minimum 80% onsite in Derby
Education:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related discipline
