With hundreds of satisfied customers and end users this company is developing and building of the largest and most capable independent UK networks, and in line with their continual expansion they have an opportunity for you to join probably the most exciting technology company in the UK at their South Coast Office in Lakeside North Harbour, Hampshire.
They are looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, this role involves the ongoing development and deployment of their Global MPLS network and carrier presence.
You must have minimum of CCNP, aspiring CCIE, with more than 2 years practicing at this level in industry. Juniper experience advantageous and cross vendor knowledge is essential.
You will have hands on experience with the design and deployment of carrier networks and be comfortable working with cross vendor MPLS integrations between this company and interconnected parties. You will be able to demonstrate solid knowledge and practice of Cisco MPLS configuration, BGP, eBGP, OSPF, AS-AS, IPv6, VFR's and advanced routing technologies.
You will be responsible for the hands-on development of their growing carrier network, developing new POP's and servicing enterprise client core's within their own network. You will lead the core infrastructure team into future expansion projects and drive technical innovation in their core MPLS environment.
The ideal candidate will work towards the position of Head of Networks within 24 months.
