Must haves

Minimum 3+ years solid networking experience background

* One or more relevant certifications desired such as CCNP, CCIE, CCSA, CCSE, etc.

* Strong knowledge of Data Centres with special focus on IP Networks, Firewalls and Application Delivery Solutions.

* Solid knowledge of Data Centers Foundation Systems.

* Strong knowledge and relevant experience in Cisco routing/switching technologies - ASR & Nexus

* Strong knowledge in Cisco ACI: relevant experience in ACI Application Centric (not interested in candidates with only network centric approach). Familiar with EPGS, L3outs, VRF, Contracts, Application profiles, deploying services on top of ACI Fabric already built. Not interested in Leaf-Spine deployments.

* Strong knowledge and extensive hands-on experience in Checkpoint FW

* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of Load Balancing Solutions (e.g. F5 BIGIP LTM & GTM, Radware, Alteon)

* Good Experience with Unix Systems

* Reversing engineer + Troubleshooting experience.

* Experience in multinational and multicultural environments Independent, confident and project-focused mind-set

Senior: Supervisory/advisory role; Highly specific skillset or technical training; Advanced educational credentials required; Greater prior experience in this role (5+ years)

Summary: Responsible for designing, installing, and supporting LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.

Skills and Competencies: Network performance optimization; LAN/WAN knowledge; network design and implementation; CISCO certificate is a plus

The contractor will work for Infra-Network Infrastructure Operations team based in Amsterdam (NL). His/her main responsibilities are handling the changes submitted by DCT Engineering team regarding DCT Infrastructure (Firewalls/Load Balancers/Cisco ACI/ Cisco traditional Switches/IP Plan.etc.), also engage into the execution of these changes out of business hours. This role is responsible for handling the change intake in particular cases, doing validation and triage for changes, and following up on important/critical/complex or unusual changes with Infrastructure Operations Team Leads/Management, also responsible for the fair queuing of changes to be properly handled in time, by change planners, to ensure all changes are done in a consistent/professional manner, also responsible to provide feedback of the execution, status and result to the stakeholders (mainly DCT Engineering Team). 1. Monitor, Prioritize & Respond to BAU request trigger by DCT Engineering Team 2. Perform assessment for Changes (Standard/Normal) submitted to your team 3. Perform tasks of Change Preparation/Execution 4. Perform and execute changes assigned (Normal/Standard) 5. Make sure Changes are done to adequate quality and ensure 1st time execution success 6. Perform Troubleshooting for any Changes that didn't work on 1st time execution and handle follow-up e-mails/resolution actions 7. Coordinate with Change Management Team liaise regarding nightly changes, and alert and notify if there is a heavy schedule/conflict that could affect ability to execute changes by night to Infra-Network Infrastructure Operations Management 8. Work on internal initiatives if requested from Infra-Network Infrastructure Operations Management
