Site Engineer
Here at Babcock International we're looking for a Site Engineer to work at the one of the largest quarries in Western Europe.
You will be carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work on off road plant within the customer's quarry.
What do I need to do the job?
You'll need to have significant experience with heavy plant and equipment engineering in quarrying and aggregates, or allied, industry. Ideally, as a time served plant engineer in both the workshop and field. You should also have experience of working within a culturally strong SHEQ environment.
You should be:
* Time served HME mechanic, ideally in a hard rock quarrying/mining application
* Recognised automotive, construction plant or engineering technical qualification, as a time served engineer in both the workshop and field.
* Have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification or professional experience.
* A full driving licence
* A LGV licence is desirable
* A Quarry Safety Passport or an equivalent health and safety qualification is desirable What else do I need to know?
* This role will be based at Mountsorrel Quarry, Leicestershire
* This is role is shift working within 4am and 10pm
