Senior Product Manager

Aldgate, London

Competitive Salary DOE

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join them and make an immediate impact on their emerging products. They want someone who is passionate, resourceful and enthusiastic to help explore innovative new ways to make the most of their technology and optimise existing products.

Based in our client’s London office but working closely with the team in Cambridge, you’d be making an immediate impact on a start-up that’s rapidly changing. You’d be given a key role and the opportunity to develop the direction of our client’s products. You should have a passion for product design best practice, building product functions in organisations and upskilling your colleagues in these techniques. You'll be at the forefront of taking AI and ML technology and applying it in product for customers - then measuring its impact through analytics.

Our client is looking for innovators - people whose creativity produces ground-breaking initiatives but are also focused enough to see them through and measure their success or failure. You'll be working with cutting edge technology like 3D garment design and 3D body modelling, and our client wants someone excited to be creating a product in this growing market.

The Product Manager will:

- Work with the leadership team to build and maintain long-term product strategy

- Define and manage the product backlog and support execution of the strategy by delivering PRDs.

- Ensure new features are released on time with a measurable output

- Work with the business stakeholders, development and operation teams to drive a fast paced agile methodology

- Critically assess our client’s current product processes and offerings and look for opportunities to optimise

- Work with the relevant stakeholders on detailed user stories to fully understand customer needs

- Break projects into actionable user stories and tasks, and work with the Engineering Manager to plan software development sprints

- Foster product management at the company by sharing best practise through discussion, example and occasional workshops

Your Skills and Experience:

- You've been working in Product Management (or very similar) roles for 4+ years

- You're excited about working in a start-up environment

- You enjoy planning, designing and launching digital products

- You have excellent self-motivation and drive as well as a proven track record of delivery

- You have experience working in a cross functional environment - working closely with designers, programmers, data scientists and account managers to deliver a common goal

- You have a strong understanding of software development methodologies and experience of working closely with technical teams

- You have experience executing product strategy, delivering new features amongst conflicting priorities

- You can clearly describe how you've scaled a product function - why you made those choices and what you delivered

- You have excellent communication skills

About the Company

They are a sociable company with regular events throughout the year and encourage everyone to talk with others outside your natural working circle. Every employee has a budget and 8 days a year to spend on training.

They are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity. They welcome applications from everyone who believes they fit the essential requirements of the job and do not discriminate applicants based on any other personal characteristics.
