Our client is currently seeking an Ecommerce Analyst to play a key role within their company.

My Client are looking for an experienced and passionate analyst to analyse customer, financial and transactional data to extract insight and further our understanding of what drives customer behaviour. You will monitor and understand trends in new customers.

The ideal candidate will have analytical experience - preferably in the ecommerce and digital marketing sphere.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of key reporting dashboards which are used to inform strategic and operational decision making on an on-going basis to provide insight and proposals to optimise traffic, content and purchase funnels. Delivering profitability through actionable reporting and insightful commercial analysis, you will be a key partner to the Tech, Marketing, Merchandising and Financial teams.

Duties:

* Provide analysis support to management to supplement presentations, pitches, business cases and board reports

* Continually seek to improve processes to ensure the most efficient and commercially effective relevant methods of working.

* Build models to help evaluate possible future products.

* Provide meaningful insights from the reporting trends highlighting where forecasts are deviating from the targets, and identifying emerging trends that may be of interest.

* Assist with the testing strategy by making recommendations/creating hypotheses for A/B and MVT testing based on analysis, providing conclusion reports at the end of campaigns and feeding back findings to the UX team, highlighting opportunities for further optimisation.

* Work with the Product Team to identify factors influencing the trends to make insights more relevant.

* Conduct analysis of complex data-sets in order to understand, define and monitor the KPIs that drive customer journeys and company financial, set up reporting and dashboards to communicate ongoing analysis and commentary on website performance and key metrics.

* Take a proactive approach to drilling into the detail behind the numbers, looking at trends by channel, by segment, by program etc. to understand key factors driving the trends.

* Build strong and aligned relationships with Tech, Marketing, Production & Finance

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

* Fluent in Microsoft Office programmes - with advanced Excel and Access skills

* Ability to make sense of a multi-point IT environment, interpret data, and communicate findings concisely to a variety of audiences

* The ability to focus on the detail, but also grasp the bigger picture, is essential

* Multi-tasking and prioritising under pressure and to tight deadlines must not faze you

* Experience working with Analytics platforms

* Degree Educated

* Strong SQL skills & experience of working with customer databases within a data intensive organisation

* Technical understanding of data structures and relational data bases preferably in a financial and ecommerce context

* Highly numerate and analytical with real attention to detail

* Entrepreneurial, highly motivated and determined to succeed

* Natural problem solver with an analytical and investigative mind
