Software Development Director / CTO - £80k - £120k (Negotiable) + Excellent Benefits Package

A growing online service provider is looking to grow their development team from 15 to circa 100 over the next 12 months. The company is a dynamic, exciting early stage business but with the financial security of an established business. They have experienced a hockey stick growth over the past 12 months and have over 1 million customers.

Our client is looking to recruit a Software Development Director / CTO. You will be responsible for application development, operations and Quality Assurance. You will also have overall technology strategy and architecture exposure.

Skills / Environment

Proven experience in a role that holds sole responsibility for building and operating an online service

Experience of LAMP stack (Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP)

Experience of web and mobile platforms

Experience in Quality Assurance

Experience in AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Experience in recruiting, leading and managing engineering teams

Role Overview

Recruiting, structuring, leading and managing teams including the development, operations and QA teams

Responsible for day to day operating of the company's platform; monitoring, reporting on all metrics and ensuring all performance and uptime metrics are defined, agreed and maintained

Project management and delivery of roadmap

Disaster recovery and backup strategy

Salary: £80k - £120k (Negotiable)
