SharePoint Administrator
SharePoint Administrator / Application Support / Permanent / Banbury / Oxfordshire
My market leading, global client is looking for a passionate SharePoint Administrator to join their growing IT team at their head office in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Key responsibilities:
*To provide technical application support to applications across the IT estate.
*Service ownership for SharePoint platforms and integrated services.
*Lead application technical support for SharePoint platforms.
*Forward direction & roadmaps of SharePoint platform applications.
*BAU configuration of SharePoint platform applications.
*Implementation of changes to SharePoint platform applications.
*Application package installations, application batch processes and automation.
*SQL Server basic administration
*Respond to issues, troubleshoot and resolve in timely manner - as a second line resolver group.
*Undertake service requests and administrative updates where requested.
*To make and test changes to technical automation and configuration where required to meet BAU or project aims
*Plan, test and undertake application technical component installations, deployments, refreshes or updates.
*Provide advice and consultancy and input to technical designs, IT standards and policies
*To ensure knowledge bases and documentation is maintained for supported applications and processes.
Key skills and experience required:
*In-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint online.
*Working knowledge of SharePoint designer, InfoPath and SharePoint Workflows.
*Customer focused approach.
*Ability to work in a fluid business environment and adapt to changing priorities.
*Previous experience supporting application integrations.
*A pro-active approach to problem solving and a genuine desire to get to the underlying cause of issues and improve service.
*An ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience.
*Proven experience providing application / technical support and undertaking troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
*Excellent organisational skills and the ability to take the lead in co-ordinating the efforts of stakeholders and suppliers.
*Experience working with third party suppliers for the provision of support.
*Understanding of the key concepts of the ITIL framework.
