SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - BIRMINGHAM

Location: Birmingham - West Midlands

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 plus, company car or allowance, pension, private health, fuel

The Opportunity:

Due to several recent contract awards, my client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Midlands division to work on one of their most prestigious projects to date.

Responsible for the execution of a project, leading and managing the project delivery team. Key aspects of the role are to build and develop the project team, manage the relationship with the Client, and be responsible for the day to day delivery of the project in terms of cost, value, schedule, safety, quality, environment, stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading UK contractor who have a proven track record in delivering schemes across the following sectors: commercial and mixed-use developments, education and student accommodation, heritage, local authority frameworks, inner-city residential and care and retirement.

Essential requirements

* Proven track record working as a Project / Senior Project Manager for a well-known main contractor

* Must have managed schemes up to £80m as project lead

* Stable history of employment

* Must have worked on major projects

* Excellent technical knowledge, leadership and management skills are essential

* Must be commercially aware

* Educated to a high standard (Degree or equivalent)

* UK Driving licence essential

Training required:

* Health & Safety trained - CITB or equivalent

* CSCS Card

* First Aid
