Head of SRE/Head of DevOps - Data Analytics

My client is a cutting-edge, enterprise data analytics platform that partners with blue-chip businesses globally.

They seek a Head of SRE/Head of DevOps to lead a global team across automation, platforms and operations in the mould of SRE.

The role brings together three things: capacity/infrastructure, automation and technology.

The ideal candidate will have real world experience of operations globally, be fanatical about repeatable process and automation, and understands the challenging choices needed to create scale, resilience, security and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Drive metrics and discipline to make everything production reliable

* Lead and build the SRE team and shape the form of the organisation

* Drive best practices such as automate anything manual and help build robust tools and technologies

You will have:

* Direct experience of operations and knowing how to drive towards resilience and robustness

* Run automation projects and familiarity with automation technologies and pros and cons

* Global work environment, has lead and managed across globally distributed teams

* Global vision - can drive for platform scale across a large business with huge growth potential
