Insurance Sales Clerk
Starting salary £17,500 - £20,000 depending upon applicant
Potential earnings - up to £25,250 plus bonuses
Bonus Payments - up to £750 per month subject to performance

Your duties will primarily be telephone based; receiving calls from prospective customers, taking all relevant information, providing accurate quotations for motor, commercial and household insurance and securing the sale of the policy. Customers will need to be advised of all policy details, including policy excesses and additional benefits. You will take payments to initiate cover, set-up payment plans, deal with online quotations and contact customers that have requested quotation call-backs.
Successful candidates will be given full training on our products and how to use the computer system. You will be trained in insurance underwriting and will learn sales techniques to help place and secure business. No previous sales experience is required but good communication skills that could translate to a confident and friendly telephone manner are essential for this position.
