Spring Technology are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our leading private sector clients.

Based in Kettering, the client are looking for an experienced Onsite Field Support Technician on an initial 6 month contract.

*Working knowledge on SCCM 2012 (certification Preferred for 2007 or above)

* Antivirus management knowledge (Symantec , SCEP, McAfee or other tools)

* OS Build/Imaging (related to End user devices)

* Patch management (Client environment - both SCCM and Standalone WSUS)

* Physical cables patching knowledge - Phone and LAN cables.

* Scripting knowledge (VB , batch script or PowerShell)

* Basic MAC support knowledge/experience

* VMware/Hyper-V basic knowledge

* Working knowledge on Active Directory Domain environment, DHCP, DNS, Windows GPO, WINS, and TCP/IP commands

* Familiarity with packaging (App-V, Install Shield AdminStudio, Wise, ThinApp)

* Datacentres environment knowledge/skills

* Knowledge on Mobile Device management and support

* Remote support capabilities to pitch in for escalated cases

* Project management and planning to drive projects related to End user devices (Phone/Laptop rollouts etc.)

* Inventory and asset management skills

* Client interfacing and Vendor management skills

* Knowledge of ITIL best practices and use of issue/problem tracking systems
