Software Engineer / Developer (C++ UNIX Linux Agile TDD). World renowned financial organisation is seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer for a 12 month contract. You will join a Greenfield project to port UNIX based distributed, real-time market data systems to Linux OS, the work is highly complex with C++ parsers processing around 60 billion business messages daily.

Based in amazing City offices with open plan desk space, breakout areas, quiet spaces and a range of onsite facilities such as a free fully stocked food hall area.

Requirements:

*Strong C++ skills including STL

*Good understanding of UNIX (Solaris) and Linux

*Understanding of Big Endian V's Little Endian

*Experience with large, real-time distributed systems

*Nice to have: experience with financial / market data feeds, TDD
