Based in Co Cork- this well-established Medical Device company manufacture a wide range of knee, hip, spine and trauma implants giving you experience in working with a range of devices. They are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their rapidly expanding Supply Chain Department.

The successful Supply Chain Manager will be liaising with the company's 17 manufacturing sites across 5 different countries. Working alongside the general manager.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain function while also providing leadership of the supply chain function and to manage these tasks directly.

Responsibilities:

* Responsibility for leading a technical team in achieving business and operational objectives.

* Implement and maintain a lean manufacturing system within the supply chain environment.

* Introduce new targets and KPI's to measure performance.

* Negotiate with suppliers the best possible price for all materials ensuring compliance to required standard of quality.

* Schedule production efficiently with Operations to achieve customer demand targets (OTD) and associated product mix.

* Inventory management - responsible for replenishment of raw materials, components, sundries etc. to achieve site targets

* Warehouse management - responsible for incoming goods and outgoing deliveries

Requirements:

* APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional

* Minimum 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination education and experience.

* ERP/MRP experience- a distinct advantage

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

* Accredited Lean / Six Sigma qualification (Green Belt or Higher) - a distinct advantage.
