Senior Product Manager - Product development, Government frameworks

Location: London, Birmingham, Manchester or Reading

We are actively looking to secure an experienced Senior Product Manager to join Experis.

Role Summary

The Senior Product Manager will be part of the Managed Services product management team responsible for the Enterprise Managed Service portfolios. Specific areas of responsibility will include using insight from our Public Sector customers about what they need, to lead the development of Public Sector Framework contracting, catalogue and portal capability for Managed Services that can be scaled to meet the needs of multiple customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* To own the product definition around Managed Service capability - in-life & development only. Creating and updating documentation to ensure efficient management of the portfolio internally and maximising customer accessibility to the Managed Service portfolio through clear definition of our capabilities and how to utilise them.

* To own the product P&L for Managed Service capability and maximise performance by working collaboratively with stakeholders.

* To work as part of the Managed Service team with the on-line and customer experience teams on L2C, T2R and in-life CX and value add improvements primarily focussed on Managed Service capability ownership.

* To work as part of a wider cross functional team across Services and Sales on the Managed Service portfolio transformation and launch of a set of go-to market propositions together with the Propositions team.

* To work with the Commercial team and Finance team to ensure clear value positioning, price lists and cost base across the Managed Service portfolio. To make sure that this is accessible to the sales force to enable rapid response to opportunities and drive the correct value decisions.

* To support portfolio revenue assurance and cost transformation opportunities including data and contractual validation, comms preparation and support for manual process and development roadmap for systems automation.

* To be responsible for leading and developing and managing the products to optimise long run contribution over the product life cycles.

* Manage the overall product development stack ensuring spend is in line with budgets and that benefits are being met, including management of the budget tracker. Producing investment reviews when required.

Essential Experience:

* New product development experience

* Experience working on government frameworks

* Relevant experience in a portfolio/product management role, with a track record of commercial and/or technical achievement and P & L improvement.

* Relevant experience working with in the UK Managed Service market.

* Relevant experience working with in the UK Public Sector market.

* Demonstrable communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills to Director level.

* Demonstrable leadership and influencing skills at a senior level.

* Project management skills are also desirable.
