Web Developer, 3+ Months, SC Cleared, Public Sector (Outside IR35), Warrington
The successful candidate will be working to upgrade the existing intranet in tandem with the other improvements being made to the network and enable a more streamlined and joined-up approach.
The project will involve managing resources to design and develop applications and tools to a professional standard and meet user requirements. You will create and maintain robust systems to process visualise and analyse intelligence.
The postholder will maintain and provide 2nd/3rd line support for these applications and represent our client to discuss and agree technical standards and collaborate on joint projects. The role will also involve writing reports and applying project management and service management to the day to day work.
Essential
* Skills in object-oriented software engineering; with strong skills in Python development
* Experience with web frameworks (Django, Flask, ELK)
* Experience in working in an Agile environment, with a focus on continuous delivery, user acceptance testing and TDD.
* Experience of relational database systems, preferably MS SQL.
