Test Lead

A Test Lead is required to join a FTSE 250 engineering and support services organisation based in North Bristol. You will part of an expanding team to manage the transition of applications into the production environment, to ensure all changes are tested, documented and version controlled. You will gain exposure within a growing function where you'll be focused around supporting web based applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Adherence to process and procedures to ensure document configuration management, modification management and build management

* Management of the test strategy

* UAT, unit testing and the full testing lifecycle

* Produce detailed test stage plans

* Manage quality gate reviews and contribute to evaluation of exit criteria and reports

* Management and escalation of risks

* Report progress and raise incidents following agreed test standards and processes

* Defect investigation

* Review and management of Project test resources

* Follow processes to ensure configuration and development of solutions are testable

* Liaising with the business on all testing activities

Technical skills and experience:

* Experienced Test Analyst with knowledge of the full testing lifecycle

* Leadership of a test team

* Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and Agile methodology (desirable)

* Familiarity with integration tools such as Biztalk, NetWeaver and SSIS (desirable)

* Excellent communication skills

Security Clearance:

* You must already hold or be able to achieve Security Clearance
