Junior Developer/Tester (C#/Java/SQL/Automation Testing)

Bristol (BS1)

£20,000 - £27,000 + benefits

A Bristol-based FinTech company have just opened up a new position within their QA function for a Junior Developer in Test. You'll be working very closely with a team responsible for the development of a software solution used globally by millions of customers on a daily basis!

Largely you'll be responsible for the development of automated test cases, managing the infrastructure for the execution of these cases and providing feedback to an in-house integrations team to support new feature additions and general enhancements.

You're role would consist of around a 50/50 split between development work and automated testing so ideally you'd have a solid understanding of software development using an OO language with experience of, or an interest in, automation testing.

About you…

* Ideally a relevant 2:1 degree (mathematics, computer science/engineering etc) or equivalent experience

* Experience writing unit tests in a well-known development language like C#, Java, Objective-C etc

* Ideally you'll have used this language for applications development too

* A strong grasp of standard SQL commands

* Developing automated test cases from a variety of inputs
