CTO Director Manager Java Product Owner Director Software Engineering - Berkshire

This role is for an accomplished individual to move into a Software Engineering Director's role and be responsible for running this Java development product and division within a global organisation.

You will be an accomplished manager with a background in Java based products seeking autonomy to run and shape this product and divison.

You are likely to have come from an independent organisation, happy to face the customer and manage, mentor and run the software development team.

The ideal candidate will have:

           10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.

           At least 5 year's experience in managing teams of software developers

           Proven track record of managing software product engineering projects, delivering on-time, on-budget with world-class quality

           Demonstrated ability to influence others, especially in sensitive or complex situations

           Deep experience with agile software development techniques and pitfalls

           Solid understanding of n-tier architectures

           Experience with Linux operating systems

           Experience of product development using Java, JavaScript

           Experience developing enterprise-grade software products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem.

           Experience developing and supporting hosted and/or multi-tenant software delivered as-a-Service (SaaS).
