Network Operations role has become available to lead a team of IT professionals based in South Dublin

You will be responsible for the design, management and implementation of critical business-facing networks and telephony systems.

You're role focus on working with enterprise networking technologies,leadership across the team.

You'll be doing work that matters alongside other talented people, transforming the way people, businesses and things connect with each other.

What will you be responsible for a Network Lead?

Manage, design and develop scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures to meet business objectives and SLAs.

Identify, diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software and connectivity issues reported by the business

Coordinate and work together with other members of technology staff on multiple concurrent cross-functional initiatives and projects

Manage all aspects of the network, including switching, routing, firewall administration, and the enforcement of security policies, standards guidelines and procedures

Proactivity and continuously monitor the health of all networks (LAN/WLAN/WAN/VPN/MPLS), security devices, power sources, Telco gear, DIA, voice circuits, bandwidth utilization, physical and virtual appliances as well as all supporting infrastructure.

Participate in conducting vulnerability testing, penetration analyses and security audits of network perimeter and internal network to ensure the availability.

Respond rapidly to system outages, alerts and or any interruption in system services globally on an as needed basis to maintain the highest level of availability possible.

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineering Lead or a person looking to progress into this role, who can make a strong contribution to the team.

What skills are required as to lead the Network Operations.

5+ years supporting and maintaining highly available enterprise network environments.

2+ years in a leadership role within a Networks team.

Working with redundant IP switching and routing architectures (802.1Q, 802.1d/loop prevention, static/dynamic Routing/QoS/VoIP and associated technologies and protocols.

Experience with multi-vendor firewalls, security appliances, applications and terminology (Cisco/SonicWALL/HP/Palo Alto/IDS/IPS/ACL's/NAT policies/Security Zones/DPI/SPI/MFA/IDM etc.)

Supporting VoIP and SIP based telephony solutions, SBC's/Adtran/Sonus
