As the weekend nears (I am writing this ad on a Thursday afternoon!), I thought I would be kind and write something short and sweet!
I am partnering up with a Global Analytics Agency who are looking to recruit numerous Forecasting Analysts (Mid, Senior) to come in and join their growing Data Analytics team. They work with a range of leading brands in the Telecommunications and Online Retail space, utilising their state of the art data platforms to produce a range of services including market analysis, market forecasts, research reports and industry metrics. They are considered to be a thought leader in their specified verticals and are going through a huge period of expansion as we move into 2019.
But enough about them, this ad is all about you after all. Specifically, what you will be expected to do on a day-to-day basis.
First and foremost, you will be working as part of a collaborative (and friendly!) team, liaising with a range of stakeholders and and working together to maintain a range of forecasts. However, it isn't all team-based work and you will be given both the autonomy and creative control to take ownership of projects, leading and managing individual forecasting projects on a case-by-case basis.
You will undertake a range of granular forecasting activities and work towards improving the overall quality (and accuracy) of their commercial data products, providing data analysis and acting as a 'domain expert' for your relevant region/vertical. You will take responsibility for the end-to-end production and presentation of key forecasting projects and will be expected to use a range of tools including MS Excel, as well as additional statistical packages/languages including Python and R.
In return, you will benefit from a highly competitive base salary (between £40,000 - £50,000) alongside an annual bonus (15%), company pension (6%) and 26 days holiday. You will also be offered the opportunity to progress via their tailored 'T-Model' development plan, aimed at fleshing out the skills of their employees.
