Backend Developer / Java Developer (Java JVM AWS Spring AKKA CI/CD microservices). Do you have a love of sports? Want to work on a revolutionary new sports streaming / data platform to rival the likes of Sky and BT Sport within a collaborative, technology driven environment?

As a Backend Developer you'll focus on development of large distributed systems with challenges around scalability and reliability. The platform will deliver video content via a multitude of devices and formats. You'll be working in a collaborative, technology driven environment with a range of modern development practices including Continuous Deployments to the cloud environment.

You'll be working in a collaborative, technology driven environment - making technology decisions and contributing to product strategy. Offices based in Central London.

Requirements:

*Strong web based Java development experience using JEE like solutions (Spring, AKKA)

*Experience of working on large scale, distributed systems with scalability challenges

*Significant experience developing with multiple JVM technologies / libraries

*Experience working with and deploying to cloud services (especially AWS and Google Cloud Platform)

*Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills
