The role is an 8 month contract based in Bracknell.

Job Overview

This role is to provide testing capability during the lifecycle of a number of DASL deliverables and to act as Test Lead of a team of testers whose primary responsibility will be the application and testing of AC/Search/MOSS/Maintenance/Quick Win & Fast Track updates.

The individual will demonstrate a working knowledge of HP ALM in managing "requirements" and the creation of Test Scripts in the Test Plan and Test Lab area within ALM.

The use of HP StarTeam is fundamental to the management of Release Unit workflow. The individual will use this product in the management of Release Units and related (linked) defects through the Release Unit life cycle.

Use of "Office" technology especially SharePoint is fundamental as the individual will maintain Test Plans and Test Reports in this utility working with the Team Leads and Test Manager to achieve approval and authorisation leading to the ultimate release of the Release Unit deliverables.

The individual will require a good working knowledge of Windows Server, SQL, Messaging and Active Directory to enable creation of Test Scripts which exercise the contractual requirements to demonstrate the viability of the Release Unit for transition through the Life Cycle and release.

Mandatory Skills Required:

Producing low level quality Test Scripts in ALM Test Plan area.

* Producing high level quality Test Scripts in ALM Test Lab area.

* Production of Test Plan documentation prior to testing.

* Production of Test Report documentation after testing.

* HP StarTeam.

* HP ALM.

* HP Radia - working knowledge.

* Sanctuary - working knowledge.
