A Lead Java Developer is required to join our team of highly talented technologists in a vibrant central London office to work closely with development peers, product & project leaders/managers and software developers to direct the successful completion and delivery of software assets and related deliverables for our financial screening solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a proven development background in a Web & High volume data management and background of delivering high quality software solution.
Essential Skills
* Proficient in development languages including Java/J2EE 1.8+, JavaScript, XML, SQL.
* Excellent technical leadership, communication and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of big data architectures and analytics.
* Cloud based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services or Azure.
* Knowledge of System Engineering activities like Build and Deployment automation & infrastructure as code (Ansible, Docker, Terraform).
Desirable Skills
* Experience with search solutions (ex. Elasticsearch).
* Experience of NoSQL and graph database platforms.
* Micro-service architectures.
