Project Manager - Oil & Gas
Aberdeen - AB12 3PG
6 Month Initial Contract
£20 - £26 per hour (Depending on experience)
Role Summary:
Provide direction to the Project team for Service Repair projects, having the responsibility for the contractual and financial delivery of these projects. Be a key interface across the business, the client and the management team on all project matters.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Organise and control the total project scope of work, both within GE and by engagement with the client & internal services project management teams.
* Report project performance to Senior Management,
* My clients representative when interacting with the client's management team - ensure that project objectives, project schedules and budgets are established and met.
* Establish lines of communication within the project organization and towards partners, sub-contractors, suppliers and the Client.
* Implement EHS, QA, QS and Risk Management in accordance with my clients and the Contract requirements.
* Ensure quality, safety, progress and cost control and initiate necessary corrective actions as and when required.
* Use good people management and network abilities to establish a positive team spirit. Inspire the project team members as well as the part of the matrix organization supporting the project.
Qualification/Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in the project management of CDE, SSPE or SWE projects.
* Solid track record of successful delivery of projects against contract.
* Proven interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Excellent leadership skills - Ability to build the project team into a dedicated and enthusiastic unit
* Commercial leadership expertise
* Project management expertise
* External focus and inclusiveness
Desired:
* Good knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector, in either CDE, SSWE or SSPE.
* Ability to establish project goals and ensure that these are communicated to, and understood by, all participants in the Project Organization as well as in all supporting units.
