Quality Engineer | Manchester | Competitive salaryOur client has a new opportunity, based in their head office in Manchester, UK for a Quality Engineer to join their Production department.
Role and Responsibilities
The main responsibility of the role will be;
To work closely with all departments to continually improve all aspects of the companies manufactured quality.To ensure the company is compliant with all current and future ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 requirements.To ensure the documented and manufactured product meets the product specification in all aspects.Full training on products and procedures will be provided.
QualityParticipate in maintaining the company's Quality policies, statements and procedures.Working alongside the Development and Production teams to ensure products are consistently produced to the highest standard.Ensuring the development and manufacturing processes meet international and national standards.Ensure compliance to ISO9001 including conducting internal and external audits.Produce quality statistics for supplier and delivered products.Take ownership of customer/supplier issues and internal corrective action procedures.Essential Requirements
Previous exposure of working to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001 accreditationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge when requiredKnowledge of the assembly of electro-mechanical productsExcellent organisation skillsExcellent attention to detailProven ability to effectively implement and maintain proceduresMicrosoft Office (mainly Outlook, Word, Excel)
