WinTel Engineer, Liverpool £48,000-£53,500 + £5,500 car allowanceA UK wide business with its Head Office in Liverpool city centre are recruiting for a Senior Wintel Engineer to join the team. You will be responsible for supporting all the infrastructure and networks across the company. This will include data centres, Virtualisation, cloud, as well as networking - LAN, WAN, routing protocols
As a Senior member of the team you will also be expected to provide technical leadership for the delivery of projects and support of the server and network estate. Service Management team will work closely with you in regards to major issues and improvements.
Role also involves:Leading, supporting, motivating and developing the teams working on the desktops, servers, storage and networkSchedule, control and support the delivery of IT provision, support, hardware and developmentsSupervise the maintenance and install workProvide on the job training, direction and support and coordinate routine tasks
To apply for this role you will need the following:Key technologies you will need to be strong in are Citrix, Office365, VMware, Cisco and NetApp.Ability to apply technical solutions to business problemsHave multi-platform environment background - Windows/LinuxSignificant understanding of infrastructure principles and architectureNetworking devices and protocolsInterest and ability to develop staffAbility to influence design and development of new and changed systemsBackground operating in a project driven environmentSalary - £48,000-£53,500
