My client is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join their team in their new office in Winsford, Cheshire.
They are the leading provider in bespoke software to the NHS in specialising in a number of long term illness including COPD, Cardiovascular disease, and chronic kidney disease to name a few. They operate from 14 offices across the country and various remote sites for screening operations.
You would be required to:
Assist with the design and development of new software productsProduce technical documentationLiaise with customers to help define software requirementsAssist with 3rd line support for existing softwareWork with support services to help define support requirements for new software products
Essential Skills needed
Strong commercial Java knowledge and backgroundCommercial knowledge in the design and use of relational databases using SQL with PostgreSQL preferablyFamiliar with Linux and Windows environmentsDESIRABLE - Front end web development DESIRABLE - Spring, Maven, Dropwizard based web servicesPackage - Salary DOE (let me know your minimum requirement when applying), Flexi start/finish, WFH, Pension)
