SIEM Security Design Engineers - various locations across the UKSalary - £40,000 - £60000 + Car + Bonus + excellent package
Due to extensive growth, a chance has arisen to work for a world leading, Fortune 500 company. My client is growing its SIEM capability and is looking for multiple engineer to join its well-established team. You will become part of a globally recognised company with real career progression and personal development.
Role responsibilities;
You will responsible for developing, designing and delivering SIEM security solutions for specific security opportunities with external clients. You will support the creation of the design and, through engagement of the wider bid team, support the development of the overall design proposition.
Required skills;
• Exposure with at least one of the following SIEM tools:
- IBM QRadar,
- McAfee,
- LogRhythm
- Splunk ES
• Solution design role for security systems and/or exposure working within a managed security organisation with SIEM applications and platforms.
• AWS solution exposure would be considered a plus.
• Extensive IT and data network exposure with a proven track record in security.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Strong documentation exposure and the ability to improve/drive design/implementation processes and procedures with exposure of working in an environment using the ITIL framework.
• Industry specific qualifications such as CISSP, CISM and CISA.
• Excellent Planning and execution skills.
Training
Whilst you must have practical hands on SIEM skills, you will receive various Technical Certifications and Vendor led training whilst in this role.
Due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible to undergo SC level Security Clearance, however current and active clearance would be highly advantageous.
