Information Security Engineer / Manchester, UK / £23,000 to £34,000A leading online investment platform, with assets under administration of over £30 billion, are looking for an Information Security Engineer to join the IT Risk and Security department. Previous exposure working within a Security environment is not essential, as they are keen to develop skills.
You will be responsible for;Proactive monitoring, identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilitiesMonitoring and investigating security alertsFirewall management activities to improve system securityAssist in the assessment for assessing, planning, coordinating system patching and server hardeningKey Skills;Passion for Cyber/Information Security, demonstrated through qualifications or studiesExposure working within an IT environment in a Service Desk, Support or Engineering capacityGood fundamental knowledge of networks and infrastructureThis role is a critical hire, with someone likely to start early 2019 - if you are interested please send your CV through to [email protected]
