Mechanical design engineer

£27000-£34000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Holiday

Are you a design engineer with an interested in vintage civilian and military aircraft?

Do you want to join a small but growing company that will offer you a varied, interesting and technically challenging role?

This company are an established Aerospace design, repair and overhaul company who predominantly work with vintage civilian and military aircraft.

In this role you will use CAD software to design bespoke components according to customer specifications. You will also collate supporting design data to underwrite modifications and charges and create mechanical engineering reports, technical publications and instructions.

The ideal candidate will be a design engineer with experience or passion for aerospace design who has experience using CAD.

This is a great role for a design engineer to join a company where you can play a key part in the company's growth and development.

Duties:

* Create mechanical engineering reports, technical publications and instructions

* Collate supporting design data to underwrite modifications and charges

* Design of bespoke components according to customer specifications

Key Skill:

* Experience of CAD software an advantage

* Proficient with MS Office

* Ability to work on own initiative
