Technical Project Manager IT Security Cyber Security

Responsibilities:

Delivery of project deliverables to time, budget and quality.

Maintain oversight of the project team, ensuring consistency and quality across planning artefacts and key outputs.

Working with wider technology teams and leadership to effectively plan and execute work through: upfront planning, scheduling, design, mapping, build, testing and implementation. To liaise with application and business owners to properly understand and catalogue connections prior to migration.

Ensuring plans are in place to deliver projects at an appropriate pace and throughput. Development of a series of planning artefacts, including project plan, milestone deliverables and resource tracking artifacts inline with project KPIs.

Identification and management of risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring critical path milestones are met to meet the schedule.

Ensure stakeholder buy-in to the schedule and resolve any issues raised by team members. Ensure appropriate pace and throughput across delivery teams through frequent schedule / milestone reviews; working with teams to identify the most efficient methods that leverage best working practices wherever possible.

Manage and coordinate third parties involved within various aspects of the project.

Ensuring effective and transparent reporting on progress to inform Programme level reporting including Project Board and SteerCo presentations.

Skills Required:

Project Manager with a comprehensive IT security background having managed projects relating to complex network environments at a technical and business level.

Solid background and experience in leading and delivering Cyber Security projects and workstreams Strong project management skills are a must, the role requires an individual to manage and prioritise multiple workstreams and milestones at any given time

Strong, pragmatic, client facing and relationship building skills are required, including the ability to influence and manage key stakeholders within an organisation undergoing transformation

Mandatory - experience in global networking technologies, applications and environments

Desirable - experience in DC and Cloud based network environments
