Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Technical Test Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh on a rate of c.£300-£350/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Define the Non-Functional Testing approach for the programme (Performance and Failover testing primarily).

* Liaise with project team personnel to create non-functional tests and implement these within an automated pipeline construct.

* Create unified performance test and status reports across multiple projects to provide assurance of activities and test results.

* Work with project teams in a Programme environment.

Requirements:

* Good knowledge of JMeter, SOAP UI and other performance testing tools.

* Working knowledge of non-functional test tools e.g. JMeter, LoadRunner, Winrunner etc.

* Knowledge of Relational Database Technology (MS-SQL, Oracle) would be beneficial as would knowledge of statistical/analytical toolkits (SAS).
