Application Support Engineer (3rd Line)West Yorkshire

A market leading SaaS company in the education sector are looking to recruit an experienced 3rd line engineer to join their development and transition team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years commercial experience working in a testing / engineering / analyst environment with some knowledge of DevOps principles.
Key role and responsibilities:
· Analyse and resolve issues arising from dev and deployment
· Testing and quality assurance work on R11/R12 migration testing
· Utilise knowledge of SQL Server: SQL 2016 / 2008R2, T-SQL
· Create and manage PowerShell scripts to automate VM deployment
· Conduct defect analysis: related to R11/R12, work alongside SQL Database Developer
· Assist with the automated deployment
· Support and maintain deployments on the Hyper-V environment
· PowerShell, SQL 2008R2, T-SQL and REST API (for testing)· Hyper-V knowledge and Database Management (desirable)
