Build and Release Engineer

Leeds

Up to £40,000 + semi-flexible working hours

My client is currently looking for a Skilled Engineer who can build and manage their Continuous Integration pipelines and be responsible for code releases.

If there is one client that I work alongside that I'd love to join it would be these guys. They have a massive AWS migration project going on at the moment which will allow the right candidate to have insight into a project which will change the way a business can function. As well as be responsible for automation across the business.

Responsabilities will include working collaboratively with software delivery teams to deploy and operate the delivery pipelines and build systems to help automate and streamline processes. There will also be an element of supporting and resolving problems.

Key Experience Required:

* Creation and management of CI/CD Pipelines (jenkins)

* Use of Code repositories (Git, SVN)

* Use of Tools such as SonarQube, Artifactory, Maven and Bitbucket

* Experience programming in Java within a Windows environment (Desired not essential)

On offer, as well as a competitive salary base of £40,000, is early or late start and finish times, transport discounts in Yorkshire, highstreet discounts and a professional but laid back culture. Alongside the usual benefits, this company is unique, as they are an educational company, they pride themselves on investing in your training as this is what they do!
