Technical Author - Telecommunications

Location: North London

Duration: 6 months

Day Rate: £400 - £425

Technical Author - We are actively seeking a Technical Author to join on of the World's Leading Network Software Company based in North London for an initial 6 months. As the Technical Author you will be working within a documentation team of 8 and be responsible for one or more solution areas.

The Technical Author will need to come on board and hit the ground running making contributions to the team. The Technical Author will also work alongside the support and engineering teams to help produce clear and concise documentation. The Technical Author will need strong experience of topic-based authoring using XML (DITA). This is an excellent opportunity for the Technical Author to join a global company where you can make a difference.

Key Skills for the Technical Author:

* Proven commercial experience as a Technical Author.

* Previously worked for a Telecoms Company.

* Able to understand complex concepts and explain them clearly.

* Solid experience documenting technical systems for a technical audience.

* Strong experience of topic-based authoring using XML (DITA).

* Attention to detail and organised.

* Excellent communication skills are vital.
