Java Developer - Prague

Your Role

* Perform technical assessments of requirements received, solution design and effort estimation

* Perform technical design and data modeling base on functional requirements

* Build/test the approved design and creation of release notes for implementation into production in accordance with the Agile best practices

Your Responsibilities

As a senior java developer you will get exposure to many business deliverable projects

* Perform technical assessments of requirements received, solution design and effort estimation

* Perform technical design and data modeling base on functional requirements

* Design/development of important service orchestration layer to integrate state-of-the-art caching technologies and Hadoop eco-systems

* Evaluate new technologies in the Market and conduct technical POC

* Build/test the appropriate design and creation of release notes for employment into production in accordance with the Agile best practices

Desirable Skills

* Extensive knowledge of Java server side technologies including Linux/Unix environments (JBOSS or Weblogic etc)

* In depth knowledge of Multi-threaded, high throughput, low-latency design of Java service components.

* Widespread experience with Pl/Sql and Oracle or other commercial database.

* Experience working with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Hbase, Spark)

* Experience with Scala and Python

* Experience with Team City integration, Nolio and SonarQube

* Experience with Git/Stash/JIRA/Nexus for source and version control, Autosys for batch control

* Financial industry experience, knowledge of Derivatives products
