Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer

Location: London, SE1

Salary: £31,000

The client is a small IT support provider working in London. They currently work as a boutique IT support service with a small number of important professional clients. Clients of theirs include companies working in Law, Recruitment and Financial Services.

It is a growing company, looking for another IT Support team member to join the organisation to assist in a client facing role. The right candidate will be able to become a valued part of a company working in Cloud Computing, and software solutions.

The client is looking for someone who thrives on opportunities to work outside of the box and become and influential and important part to the company.

Located in Central London, travel to clients will be by public transport.

The Candidate:

* Experienced in a client facing role

* Be well presented and confident with dealing with computer users reporting problems

* Able and willing to assume responsibility for help desk management

* Good telephone manner

* 2nd Line and 1st Line support experience

* Strong work ethic : willing to go the extra mile when required

Skills:

* Experience in external support - visiting client sites.

* Understanding Networking, Broadband, Routers

* Experience of diagnosis while taking to users 1st and 2nd line.

* Hardware experience an advantage

* MacOs knowledge an advantage

* Windows OS deployment and installation an advantage

* Knowledge of Hosted Desktops via RDP or Citrix

* Knowledge of Email clients and Microsoft Office software

* Knowledge of Email security services such as Mimecast

* VOIP Telephone provisioning an advantage

Candidates with experience or relevant job titles of: Technical Customer Service Assistant, Sales Associate, Customer Support, Technical Support Officer, Sales Care Consultant, Customer Care Advisor or Customer Service Staff may also be considered for this role.
