IT Security Consultant required on an initial 15 month contract for a leading managed Services Provider specialising in IT and Information Security. The successful candidate must have a strong technical security understanding of security architecture and ideally be CISSP certified.

To apply for this role you must have a valid DV security clearance.

The role

**Presenting and negotiating technical security solutions to the Accreditation Authority;

** Undertaking security studies with the objective of developing a proposal for improving security in terms of posture vs. Policy and overall robustness to attack.

** Developing Security Cases and Security Assurance Plans

** Specifying security testing against agreed requirements and for Penetration testing

** Maintaining and articulating the different forms of threats / vulnerabilities to the system

** Design and implement secure IS architectures

Essential Skills

** DV Cleared

** Specialist technical security understanding of security architecture

** Specialist technical security understanding of wider common product sets such as databases, networking kit, EDRMS and user applications

** Security Architecture

** An awareness of the Agile approach to delivery

** CISSP
