Linux Systems Engineer (Trading Tech) £55,000 - £60,000

We are seeking a Linux focused Systems Engineer to join a hugely successful trading technologies software house currently modernising their systems and infrastructure, moving towards automated infrastructure, containerisation and cloud.

As the Linux Systems Engineer you will have a broad remit, with a strong focus on improving and scaling vital infrastructure and systems supporting complex real time trading technologies. You will have the opportunity to scale and secure Linux systems, work with config and automation tooling and have a heavy 'infrastructure automation' mindset. The team are also moving over to a cloud based environment and you will be a major part of this transformation project.

We are looking for a Linux Systems Engineer with:

* Strong Linux knowledge, preferably RedHat but flexible

* Exposure to Ansible, Puppet or Chef and cloud technologies (GCP or AWS) would be beneficial but not essential

* Bash or Python scripting for automation

* Broad technical knowledge with cloud include monitoring tools or network technologies
