Are you an Aluminium extrusion specialist looking to join a cutting edge company where you will use your skills and knowledge to represent the company on a global scale as you lead projects for their biggest Automotive OEM customers?

This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to travel internationally to Automotive Extrusion plants and be the go to expert for leading metallurgical projects & providing technical support to major OEM's.

The company are an industry leader in the design of structures and components for the automotive sector. With an unequalled reputation, coupled with exciting plans for expansion, they are looking for a Metallurgist with knowledge of aluminium extrusion & casting to represent the company across OEM Automotive plants in Europe and North America. Their HQ is based in Uxbridge, London and you will predominately be working from home with occasional trips there.

This role would suit an Industrial Metallurgist with experience in aluminium extrusion and ideally casting & fabricating.

The Role:

- Providing Metallurgical support in implementing new products into Extrusion plants

- Leading product trials and dealing directly with on-site teams

- Travelling to North America and European sites (Usually no more than 1 week away at a time)

- Company HQ in Uxbridge but Home based role with flexible location

The Candidate:

- Metallurgist with Aluminium extrusion experience

- Any knowledge or experience of Casting & Fabrication advantageous

- Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace or similar background

- Flexible to travel internationally and able to represent the company at all levels
