Test Analyst

A Test Analyst is required to join a FTSE 250 engineering and support services organisation based in Keynsham. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience within web based application testing in the defence industry. Within the solutions team you will deliver collaborative solutions for use by the entire UK defence maritime enterprise.

Your key responsibilities will be:

* Manual functional and system test design, execution and reporting

* Offering test advice, guidance and estimations

* Produce test strategies, test plans, test cases and test completion reports

* Writing SQL queries for data manipulation

* Interaction with other business functions and clarifying requirements with Business Analysts

* Work closely with delivery teams to identify all functional test points and creation of test data

* Production and maintenance of the regression test pack

* Identification of test risks, reporting and mitigation

Experience and skills required:

* Proven experience as Test Analyst managing the entire testing lifecycle (test plans, test strategies, test cases etc)

* Java, .Net, Oracle, Jira (desirable)
