Overview:
Our client is looking for a 1st Line Support technician to support them throughout a 6 month contract in Solihull.
Our client is offering a quick application process to start, and an hourly rate of £10.30 an hour for this role.
Responsibilities include:
*Primary desktop support for Windows Operating System
*Responsible for technical troubleshooting, data gathering and GAP analysis for issues impacting end users globally
*Escalation of issues when appropriate
*Understand and follow direction provided by the Application and System Services team leads and managers
*Document recurring issues in the Client Knowledge Base
*Document in detail case status and tasks / work completed with end users in the Client Help Desk system
*Follow the Client critical incident process
Key skills:
*Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science preferred
*Excellent team work and communication skills
*Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
*Windows 7 and 10 Operating System troubleshooting experience would be beneficial
*Strong customer service skills
