Role: IT Project Manager

Location: Milton Keynes

IT35: Outside

Rate: £350-450 Daily

Length: 12 Months

My secure government client requires a project manager to be responsible for the delivery management of 3rd Party system implementers for a range of cloud based enterprise application projects and ICT delivery projects in accordance with External Statement of Works contracts for IIT Enterprise applications. Delivery of requirements in line with those expected from the delivery of the portfolio or project in the Cloud using The Government Green Book guidance using a 6 stage business assurance and delivery cycle into 'live service' that form the IIT Governance. Scheduling of major work packages ensuring optimum use of the organisations resources to ensure adequate resource planning; Establishing and Securing the supply chain for their projects portfolios; Financial management of the projects or portfolio in line with the organisations processes and procedures; Problem resolution for any issues arising from the portfolio/project(s); Represent the organisation at portfolio/project governance meetings.

Essential:

*Demonstrable experience of project management methodologies and their application in the design, development and implementation of projects.

*A recognised project management qualification such as Prince 2 Practitioner, APMP, ISEB Certificate in Project Management or equivalent. (IPM, APM(P)), Agile, Sprint.

*Experience of MS Project or equivalent project planning tool.

*A sound knowledge of financial controls and management with knowledge of all aspects of the project life cycle coupled with a track record of working successfully with Enterprise financial systems (Oracle/SAP) at a project level.

*IIT project delivery domain experience

Desirable:

*Knowledge of analysis techniques, business and/or systems, and its application in a project environment.

*Demonstrable experience in Project Management products such as MSP, MoR® and M_o_V®, ITIL, Sprint, Agile.

*Benefits management and the responsibilities from a supply perspective.

*OGC Gateway Reviews
