Cloud Engineer/ Cloud Architect (AWS, Azure) - Leeds - 6 Months

Currently recruiting for a senior Cloud Engineer/ Hands on Cloud Architect to be based in Leeds working for a fantastic company working with cutting edge technologies. This project is long-term and will be open to a number of extensions - the initial contract will be 6 months and is paying £400/450 per day for the right candidate, depending on experience.

This role requires an experienced, hands on Cloud (AWS) Engineer. If you have experience with Azure too this would be great as the company use both but it is not essential.

Role Purpose

Working within a high performance team, you will architect and build cutting-edge, immutable, scalable, secure infrastructure platforms and services. The ideal candidate will be masterful in Cloud and Automation technologies.(AWS and Azure)

Skills & Experience

Essential

* Hands-on experience

* Storage, availability, performance and security - vital areas of expertise.

* Extensive experience with leading Cloud platforms. ideally AWS across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.

* Solid Automation skills for rapid release and immutable infrastructure deployments

* AWS Cloud Platform Services and supporting infrastructure

* Powershell experience

* Knows and can talk about pipelines for delivery

* Monitoring large systems using technologies such as Application Insights and Log Analytics

* Agile Scrum team and the tooling that supports it (e.g. Atlassian Stack, VSTS)

* Solid understanding of networking, DNS, Digital Certificates, Authentication and Authorisation

* Be adept in diagnosing and troubleshooting infrastructure and applications
